AI to Be Taught to 'Grow' Tissues Almost Like Living Things

In Russia, a breakthrough for medicine is being prepared: by 2027, scientists plan to create an AI platform that will independently manage the process of bioprinting tissues and organs.

The project is being developed at Sechenov University. The development is carried out jointly with Chinese researchers and could become the foundation for a whole generation of domestic biomedical technologies.

This approach could dramatically increase the success of operations to restore complex areas of the body — from trauma consequences to reconstructive and plastic surgery
