Samsung teaches refrigerator to think for you

At CES 2026, the company unveiled a refrigerator that becomes the main AI brain of the apartment. It knows what you have inside, monitors stocks, and decides what you should cook today.

Inside – a camera and AI based on Google Gemini . The fridge recognizes products, updates the shopping list, suggests recipes, and displays everything on a large screen. It warns if food is about to expire, is voice-controlled, and turns cooking from a chore into a scenario where you just follow instructions

Effectively, Samsung takes a step further: the tech analyzes habits, adapts to tastes, and gently nudges you toward choices. Convenient? Yes. A bit unsettling? Also yes.
