Disney parks have a new Spider-Man stunt performer — and it's not human

It's an autonomous robot that makes decisions on its own mid-flight. It soars up to 25 meters, chooses the moment to tuck, performs a flip, slows down, and adjusts its trajectory in the air. Everything happens in real time, as if the audience is watching a real superhero.

The robot was developed by Disney Imagineering engineers: the robot analyzes its position and reacts instantly. Now at Avengers Campus, Spider-Man flies so convincingly that it's almost impossible to tell the difference from a live actor. Robotics turns the show into magic ✨
