In the US, teenagers are increasingly being detained for dangerous ChatGPT queries
A 17-year-old teenager was caught after fake messages about kidnapping and suicide. Formally, searching for information is not prohibited, but when AI is used for hints at crimes, the police get involved.
🤓 In another case, a 13-year-old schoolboy asked: 'how to k*ll my friend right in class'. He was identified through the Gaggle school security system. Later, the boy claimed he was just 'trolling' a classmate. Police are now mass-warning parents: there is no anonymity in neural networks, and jokes can end up with a criminal case.
Lawyers remind: ChatGPT is just a tool, not a 'friend' to whom you can entrust any thoughts with impunity.
