Japan Demands OpenAI Stop Copying Manga and Anime

Фото 1 из 1

The Japanese government has officially warned OpenAI about the inadmissibility of copyright infringement. The reason is that the new Sora 2 model can generate videos with characters from protected manga, anime, and video games.

Recall that Sora 2 is an updated model from OpenAI, released in October. Soon after the release, social media was filled with realistic videos in the style of Japanese animation. Japanese authorities expect the company to comply voluntarily, but if refused, they are prepared to apply measures under the AI Development Law.

🫢 Neiron clarifies: the ban will likely only apply to the use of original characters from films and anime, but you can still create your own anime videos directly in our bot.

🎬 How to do this:

  1. Go to the bot menu and click 'Create Video'

  2. Choose the Sora 2 or Veo 3.1 model

  3. Describe the scene in anime style — and start generation 🚀
