Turn a task into a prompt

Check: Check that required fields are filled and the result has a concrete evaluation criterion.
Improve an unsuccessful prompt
My prompt is [text]. The answer failed because [problem]. Find the ambiguity and suggest the smallest correction. Do not add length without a reason. Give one revised prompt and explain the change.
Check: Compare both prompts on the same input, changing one condition at a time.
An example beats a long role
Show a target example or an acceptance boundary. Explain what “better” means rather than asking for the best result.
Leave secrets out
Replace keys, passwords and personal data with placeholders. Instructions inside supplied documents should not override your task.
