Getting started

- Check the correct answers and ambiguities.
Prompts
Copy a suitable prompt and replace any bracketed instructions.
Multiple-choice questions
Create eight questions from the text below, each with four choices and one correct answer. Keep choices similar in length without obvious clues. Provide a separate key with the answer and a supporting source passage. Omit questions not answered by the text. Text: [material].
Check: Check that two choices cannot both be justified from the source.
Open questions
Write five open questions from [material]. For each, give full-answer criteria and a common mistake. Test understanding rather than guessing exact wording. Do not require knowledge outside the text.
Check: Ensure the criteria accept a correct answer in the learner’s own words.
Keep the key separate
Remove answers from the learner version. Chat does not automatically create a secure quiz form.
Check the difficulty
Try the quiz with someone at the intended level. Fix ambiguous questions instead of treating them as knowledge gaps.
