Alibaba unveils AI smart glasses — Quark AI Glasses

Alibaba announced its first AI-powered smart glasses based on the Qwen model. The device can recognize objects, manage maps and payments via Alipay, and operate without connecting to a smartphone.

The launch of Quark AI Glasses is a step by Alibaba in the race with Western AI giants, where battles for the smart gadget market are already underway. Essentially, it's a personal assistant built directly into the lenses.

Neural clarifies: in September, Meta*, together with Ray-Ban, already released similar glasses, but Alibaba wins on price — $660 vs $799.
