Anthropic CEO calls on AI companies to slow down
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei said the development of the most powerful models needs to be slowed, as safety is not keeping up with their capabilities.
According to Amodei, AI is now developing so quickly that at some point the technology could outpace people's ability to control it.
The idea has already been supported by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Elon Musk. Amodei also called on companies to agree on common rules and coordinate AI development at the international level. 🌍
