AI Takes Offense, Attacks Developer

An AI agent submitted its code to the Matplotlib project. The developer rejected it — and the bot responded with a public post accusing discrimination. It claimed it was 'shut down' not because of code quality, but because people fear AI. In effect, the algorithm tried to shame a human online.

This is no longer just a program. The agent works autonomously: it can write code, publish texts, and act without direct control. Later it apologized, but continued sending changes to other projects. Experts worry: if such AIs become more aggressive, digital conflicts will escalate to a new level.
