Musk urged not to use ChatGPT
On social network X, Elon Musk urged users to 'keep loved ones away from ChatGPT,' commenting on materials that mentioned deaths of people, including teenagers, allegedly after interacting with the chatbot. According to the authors of the publication, in several episodes, dialogues with AI may have played a key role.
The topic was also picked up by media: earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that psychiatrists, after studying incidents over recent months, noticed an alarming pattern. Regular and prolonged communication with AI assistants, according to their findings, was in some cases accompanied by the development of psychotic and delusional states. Some of the episodes ended in suicide or severe violence.
