Musk Urges Not to Use ChatGPT

On social network X, Elon Musk urged users to 'keep your loved ones away from ChatGPT', commenting on materials that mentioned deaths of people, including teenagers, allegedly after interacting with the chatbot. According to the authors of the publication, in several episodes, dialogues with AI could have played a key role.

The media also picked up the topic: earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that psychiatrists, after studying incidents over the past months, noticed a worrying pattern. Regular and prolonged communication with AI assistants, in their findings, was in some cases accompanied by the development of psychotic and delusional states. Some of the episodes ended in suicide or severe violence.
