Oracle massively lays off employees and bets on AI
American technology company Oracle has begun massive layoffs: about 10,000 people have already lost their jobs, and this may be just the beginning.
Among those laid off are engineers, system architects, and experienced technical specialists 👩💻
The reason is simple: the AI race requires colossal investments. Oracle is planning large-scale projects, including collaboration with OpenAI and the construction of new data centers, which could cost hundreds of billions of dollars.
