Oscar Will Not Award AI Actors and Scripts Written by Neural Networks
The American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscar) has officially updated its rules: now only films where acting and screenplay are created by humans can receive awards. The reason is the rapid spread of AI in the film industry, which increasingly replaces human work ✍️
🎭 The new rules emphasize: acting work must be 'performed by a human,' and the screenplay must be 'written by a human.' At the same time, AI can be used in film production but should not become the main source of creativity.
