Humanoid Robot NEO from Startup 1X — New Home Assistant for $20,000

Norwegian company 1X has opened pre-orders for NEO, a home robot that can talk, find objects, make the bed, and even suggest recipes.

Standing 168 cm tall and weighing 30 kg, NEO looks almost human — it even comes with a stylish turtleneck. It operates up to 4 hours without charging and returns to its dock on its own.

Initially, the robot will be partially controlled by a company operator via VR, like a student under supervision. Over time, it will become fully autonomous.

💰 Price: $20,000, or $499 per month via subscription. NEO will go on sale in 2026, available in three colors: beige, gray, and black.
