Figure 02 Robots Worked Almost a Year at BMW Factory — Here’s What They Found
Figure AI has summarized the results of 11 months during which Figure 02 humanoids worked alongside people at BMW’s production facility in South Carolina. The “metal interns” helped produce 30,000 vehicles and loaded over 90,000 metal parts.
During the tests, the robots were gradually assigned more complex tasks. Ultimately, Figure 02 confidently lifted heavy panels and installed them with millimeter precision, demonstrating reliability above 99%.
