Trump Decides to Rename Artificial Intelligence — Now It’s ‘Superintelligence’
Donald Trump didn’t like the word “artificial”: in his opinion, it creates the impression that the technology is “not real.”
At the UN General Assembly, the U.S. president proposed calling AI “super intelligence,” or simply SI, and said that this is the term that should appear in American government documents.
Internet users began joking and calling the technology “super-duper intelligence.” But experts doubt that the new name will catch on: modern neural networks have not yet reached that level.
