Getting started

- Start with one medium: pencil or watercolour.
- Upload the image and paste the prompt.
- Check the face, hands and object positions.
Prompts
Copy a suitable prompt and replace any bracketed instructions.
Pencil drawing
Turn the uploaded photo into a restrained pencil drawing on light paper. Preserve composition, recognizable faces and object proportions. Use soft hatching without excessive sharpness or added detail. Do not add an artist signature, date, text, frame or watermark.
Check: Inspect the eyes and nose. Request less contrast if hatching obscures the face.
Watercolour version
Create a watercolour interpretation of my photo with soft edges and a calm palette. Preserve object arrangement, face and overall silhouette. Simplify the background without changing the location. Add no people, lettering, signatures or recognizable third-party symbols.
Check: Check the silhouette and key details. Add card lettering separately.
For an avatar or card
Use a simple background for a small avatar. For a card, leave room for lettering and add it afterwards.
How to refine the style
Specify medium, contrast and background. Do not add another artist’s signature or present the result as their handmade work.

- No. Generative editing can change shapes, so compare it with the original.

- Yes, if the file has suitable dimensions and quality. Check framing and scale first.
