Taylor Swift and Drake Albums Linked to Rise in Fatal Car Crashes
On the release days of hit albums in the US, road deaths were 15% higher. This was found by researchers at Harvard Medical School.
They studied ten major releases, including albums by Taylor Swift, Drake, and Harry Styles. Release days were compared with adjacent dates.
According to the researchers, the driver spends a few seconds searching for the album and choosing a track, without looking at the road.
