Burger King Starts Using AI to Check Employee Politeness

The chain is launching a voice assistant called Patty, which helps in the kitchen, suggests recipes, and… evaluates staff friendliness. The algorithm is trained to recognize polite phrases and even analyze conversational tone.

Managers will be able to ask the system how 'warmly' their employees communicate with customers

The AI is also connected to cash registers and inventory: if ice cream runs out or a machine breaks, the item disappears from the menu within 15 minutes. The technology is currently being cautiously tested, but by 2026, the digital assistant is planned to be deployed across all states.
