ChatGPT reported to the FBI about a man who discussed killing his own son
A 36-year-old Brazilian spent almost two months writing to ChatGPT about his desire to kill his eight-year-old son.
OpenAI considered the threat serious and passed the information to the FBI, which notified the Brazilian authorities.
The man was detained, although he denies real plans, and his lawyer claims they were merely conversations with a chatbot.
