The CEO of a game publisher decided to use ChatGPT to get rid of his own studio's management and avoid paying them a $250 million bonus. This is about a company that bought the developers of the game Subnautica and promised them a large payout upon achieving goals.

When it became clear that the studio was close to achieving them, the management decided to 'rewrite the rules' — and even created an action plan using AI 🤨

But everything didn't go as planned: the court found that the management acted unlawfully and ordered the reinstatement of the fired top managers. Moreover, the deadline for receiving the bonus was extended.
