A jazz pianist Jason Moran's name appeared on Spotify with an album containing music he had nothing to do with. Turns out, AI simply impersonated the artist. And such cases are increasing — from jazz to hip-hop, where even Drake has been targeted.

The problem is that it becomes increasingly difficult to tell the fake from the real. Streaming platforms generate revenue, and fake tracks divert money from actual musicians. Platforms promise to strengthen protection, but experts say directly: AI has only accelerated the scale of fraud.
