Claude developer sues Pentagon
Anthropic, the company behind AI model Claude, filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense after officially being labeled a 'supply chain threat'.
⚠️ Federal agencies would effectively be banned from working with Claude, and contractors risk losing collaboration with the Pentagon.
The conflict arises from disagreements on how AI should be used in military projects. Anthropic refused to soften restrictions on the use of its Claude model, and afterward, the Donald Trump administration banned all federal agencies from using this AI.
