Chinese robot breaks world record, runs 100 meters faster than Usain Bolt
At the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, the Tiangong Ultra robot covered 100 meters in 9.39 seconds — faster than Usain Bolt's world record of 9.58 seconds.
True, the finish wasn't as spectacular: the robot crashed into the protective mat because it couldn't stop. 😅
And robots are already being taught not only to run: at competitions they play football, dance, and perform industrial tasks.
