Razer revived AI and released a hologram companion

This is a physical hologram with a camera and microphone that sees, hears, and is constantly next to the user. AVA can communicate, help in games, give advice on household matters, and react almost like a 'real' character, not an ordinary chatbot.

At launch, Razer offers several visual designs, including anime avatars and the signature character Ava. Currently, the device operates on Grok, but in the future users are promised freedom to choose the AI model. Pre-orders are already open, with full launch scheduled for the second half of 2026.

AI is stepping beyond the screen and becoming an object with a face, voice, and constant presence next to a person… and it sounds both exciting and a little unsettling 😶‍🌫️
