Russian woman used AI to generate photos of twins to swindle 700,000 rubles from her ex
In Ulyanovsk, a woman made up an entire story for her ex: after the breakup, she told him she was pregnant, then claimed she had given birth to twins.
To support the story, she sent him AI-generated photos of the “children” and regularly asked for money for their upkeep.
The man believed he had become a father and transferred nearly 700,000 rubles to her over several months. At the same time, she did not allow him to see the babies in person. Eventually, he came and discovered that no twins existed. Now, a criminal case for fraud has been opened against the woman.
