Spotify will allow users to create AI remixes and covers directly within the app

The company has signed an agreement with Universal Music, and now subscribers will be able to 'reassemble' tracks of their favorite artists using AI and make their own versions of songs.

Spotify promises that artists will also receive royalties for the use of their music. It is not yet known which artists will join the system first.

It seems that the era where everyone can become a 'co-author' of world hits with a couple of clicks has already arrived. Some call it the future of music, others the beginning of the end of original creativity 🎶
