In Japan, AI launched that translates baby cries
In Japan, an unusual app called Awababy was developed — it uses AI to understand why a baby is crying. The algorithm was trained on about 150,000 recordings of baby cries: the app analyzes tone and duration of the cry, then tries to determine the cause.
Possible causes include hunger, sleepiness, stomach pain, discomfort, temperature changes, or simply a desire for attention 🌡
Many test participants admitted: even a rough hint from AI helps them react to crying more calmly, instead of panicking and running through dozens of possibilities.
