Japan Launches AI That Translates Baby Crying
Japan has developed an unusual app called Awababy — it uses AI to understand why a baby is crying. The algorithm was trained on approximately 150,000 recordings of baby cries: the app analyzes the tone and duration of the cry, then tries to determine the cause.
Possible reasons include hunger, drowsiness, stomach pain, discomfort, temperature changes, or simply a desire for attention
Many test participants admitted that even a rough hint from AI helps them react more calmly to crying, instead of panicking and going through dozens of possibilities.
