An AI bot organized a meetup for IT and tech people in Manchester. It came up with details, wrote to companies on behalf of a human, and even tried to order catering for a large sum without money. In the end, there was no proper food or cool venue—but about 50 people still gathered and spent the evening together.
📞 It turned out that real people were behind the bot, simply following its commands—an experiment where AI 'manages' people. It couldn't order pizza or secure a venue, but the main thing is that it actually gathered people.
