US Wants to Limit AI Development

Discontent around AI is sharply rising in America. People are frightened by mass layoffs, automation of professions, and the giant data centers that AI companies are building across the country. Activists have already secured the freezing or cancellation of projects worth nearly $64 billion in 24 states 🇺🇸.

The main complaints are the enormous consumption of electricity, water, and potential harm to the environment.
